No Report key yet?
A Report key comes with a Report: 30 days of surveys of any number of public repositories and one private target, for €249 (launch price · €499 after launch).
Buy a Report →Or start free:
- Survey a public repository. No Report key and no account.
- Run the collector's dry run on a private one. No purchase, no account and no collector token.
Bought one already? The Report key is in your receipt email.
Spend a Report key
Choose where the repository is, then follow its steps. Every path spends the same Report key.
Someone else's private repository? The target runs these steps with your Report key.
What happens to your Report key
- 30 days of unlimited surveys, from the first. The days start with the Report key's first survey, whoever runs it. If that survey fails, they have not started.
- Any number of repositories, public or private, as often as you like: a re-run after a fix, a second repository, a pipeline of public targets.
- Public repositories: whoever holds the Report key. It works without an account, so keep it like a password.
- Private repositories: two accounts at most. The collector spends the Report key for the account that signs in with the email address that bought it, and for one account the Report key is added to: yours, or a target's. A target you send it to can survey with it until the days run out. Each further private target needs a Report key of its own.
- Who reads a private report: the account that ran the survey, anyone GitHub says controls the repository, Borehole's administrators, and anyone holding a share link that account makes. A target that runs it with your Report key sends you that link. Terms, section 5.
- Where to see its surveys. Under Your Report keys when signed in, or The Report key on this device after opening your receipt's link: each survey the Report key has run, and the days it has left.
- A pack key, which we no longer sell, runs a set number of public surveys and no private ones.
